台灣史上最高規格的「RFC猛龍過江台灣區職業綜合格鬥爭霸賽01暨IMMAF RFC-WOTD台灣區業餘綜合格鬥冠軍賽」3日台北小巨蛋開戰，選手們為了贏得冠軍，進行嚴格的訓練及飲食控制，展現旺盛的求勝意志。

副市長陳景峻也到場主持開幕儀式，他致詞表示，很感謝協會願意投入大量資源在台北舉辦這場國際規格的綜合格鬥賽，他也交代新上任的體育局局長李再立研究該如何給予技擊項目更多的資源，讓這些運動員能有機會站上國際舞台。

而國際綜合格鬥聯合會(IMMAF)主席Mr.Brown也專程前來觀賽，他對協會第一次就能在這麼好的環境與場地中舉辦賽事感到印象深刻，他也祝福台灣的格鬥運動能快速發展，有機會與國際的職業選手一較高下。

業餘賽共有24位選手參賽，在去年業餘賽勝出的好手終於碰面，於鐵籠中爭取台灣格鬥冠軍的榮耀。

女子蠅量級由吳巧貞對上陳悅凌，雙方在前二回合僵持，誰也無法將對手制服，最後一回合吳巧貞將陳悅凌帶到地面，以技術擊倒取得最終勝利；男子羽量級的青柳克明在第一回合雖被對手擊中，但在第二回合以高難度的飛身十字固定將陳志晃擊倒，拿下該量級冠軍。

輕量級陳浩賢以短短36秒擊倒對手Alan Ivan Ramos，華麗取得勝利；壓軸賽，由中量級選手Starnes Christopher Arnold及Ashkan Boostani兩位外籍選手對決，雙方進行激烈的交手，並數次於地面纏鬥，最終由Arnold在地面擊倒對手。
